Indigo stained hands is a result of the dyeing process with Indigo, considered a badge of honor. Actually, I purposely don’t wear gloves because I can’t feel the fabric when it is submerged in the liquid. I need to feel the fabric, massage it, make sure that the fabric has the ability to be fully immersed in the dye vat so the fabric will be uniformly the same color with only slight variation.
